Where does your project stand?
A project report shows a bexio project as at a chosen date: the recorded estimate, the hours booked to date, the hours remaining and what percentage of the estimate has already gone – as a figure and as a bar. The state of the project is on one page, rather than surfacing at the final invoice – so you see early whether it is within its frame.
A donut breaks the booked hours down by client service – development, consulting, design, testing – so it is visible where the time actually goes. A project report is the time analysis of one single bexio project: the same recorded hours, measured against what was estimated and agreed for that project.

Budget and the hourly rate achieved
For each project you record the budget the way the project was sold: as a fixed price, or as time and material with an hourly rate and an optional cost ceiling. mReport works out the hourly rate achieved and sets it against the rate the estimate assumed – in the demo project CHF 47.06 calculated against CHF 54.85 actually achieved.
You record change orders without losing sight of the original price: it stays visible beside the new total. So it is clear at any moment whether an engagement carries itself.

Work packages and the trend
The report breaks the project down into its work packages: per package the booked hours against the estimate, and the consumption as a percentage. Two curves show how the hours per work package developed over the months, and how the remaining budget is being drawn down.

The project report as a PDF
The same figures become the project report as a PDF – with the overview, the budget, the work packages and the employees, in the consistent layout with your logo. Good for a status meeting, or for the project lead on the client's side – project controlling in a document you can hand over. For billing individual engagements monthly there is the work report beside it.

What is the difference from the work report?
The project report follows a whole project through its work packages – estimate, booked hours and budget, cumulative to the date you choose. The work report is the monthly hours report to the client for billing.
Can I handle fixed price and time and material?
The budget is set per project as a fixed price or as time and material with an hourly rate and an optional cost ceiling. mReport reports the hourly rate achieved and sets it against the rate the estimate assumed.
Do I see the consumption per work package?
Yes. For each work package the booked hours stand against the estimate with the consumption as a percentage, plus a trend of the hours per work package and a burndown of the hours remaining.
Which date does the report refer to?
The project report shows the state cumulative to a date or period you choose – so it is visible at any moment where the project stands.
How are change orders handled?
Change orders are recorded and added to the total, while the price originally agreed stays visible beside it.
