mReport comes from Earlybyte GmbH – born out of our own daily work with bexio.
The story
Born out of a need of our own
We at Earlybyte have worked with bexio since 2018. bexio records time, projects and client services very well – but for clean analyses and client-ready hours reports, we too kept reaching for Excel.
That was the gap we wanted to close for ourselves. mReport came out of a real need of our own: turning the time recorded in bexio into professional dashboards and PDF reports without handwork. What helped us helps other bexio users just as well today.

mReport is a product of Earlybyte GmbH in Winterthur, Switzerland. We build pragmatic, lean software and automation for small and medium-sized companies – close to practice and close to bexio.

Who builds mReport
mReport is built by Remo Höppli and the team at Earlybyte GmbH in Winterthur. We have been building software and automation for small and medium-sized companies since 2018 – and we use bexio ourselves, every day, for our own projects and reports.
Which means every feature is measured first against our own working week. If it does not take work off us, it does not make it into the product.

Why did you build mReport?
Because we had the problem ourselves. We have worked with bexio since 2018, and for clean analyses and client-ready reports we too ended up in Excel every time. mReport is the answer we wanted for ourselves.
Why not just use Excel?
Because Excel has to be touched again every month, every turn of the year and every change of workload. Rules recorded once, centrally, calculate the same way for everyone – and nobody maintains formulas.
Is mReport connected to bexio AG?
No. mReport is an independent product of Earlybyte GmbH and is operated independently. The connection goes through the official bexio interface.
Who develops mReport?
Earlybyte GmbH in Winterthur – a small team that has been building software and automation for SMEs since 2018 and uses bexio itself every day.
Can I suggest features?
Very welcome. A large part of the features came from concrete requirements raised by users. Write to us at info@earlybyte.ch and tell us what is missing.
