Work report for the client
The work report as a PDF with sender and recipient, the hours by client service and the hour budget with the balance left – ready to send to the client or to attach to the monthly invoice as evidence.
PDF export
mReport is not only an online dashboard but your PDF report generator for bexio – for projects, employees and the whole company.

All four reports
Whether it is an hours report for a client, a project analysis or a time report for the personnel file – all four report types export, in the same consistent layout, so the documents are professional and recognisable.
The work report as a PDF with sender and recipient, the hours by client service and the hour budget with the balance left – ready to send to the client or to attach to the monthly invoice as evidence.
The project report with estimate against booked hours, budget and the hourly rate achieved, plus the breakdown per work package and by employee – for a status meeting, or for the project lead on the client's side.
The employee report with time worked, expected hours, overtime, vacation figures and overtime paid out – for an annual review, payroll or the personnel file.
The company report with total hours, the trend over the period, the project table and the breakdown by employee – for management, a meeting or your records.
PDF quality
The PDFs are not a data export but finished documents. The layout, the structure and the header data are already set – there is nothing left to rebuild. Each PDF can carry your company logo and reads as a piece straight away.
You decide how the document looks once, for the whole workspace: seven typefaces with and without serifs, the logo left or right and at the height you want – or no logo at all – plus the four corners of the footer, each of which you fill with the report type, the company name, the title, the period, the page number or the date. You place the recipient's address to the Swiss SN 010130 standard or to DIN 5008 form A or B, so that it falls in the envelope window; a return line above the address can be switched on. Beside the settings stands a sample report that redraws on every change – so you see the finished document before you save.
Charts and tables go into the document in the same state as on the dashboard, including the colours of your client services. An optional disclaimer can be recorded for client-facing reports.
Because every report type uses the same grid, a consistent archive builds up over time: last year's time report as a PDF looks like this month's, which makes finding and comparing them considerably easier.
Structure and export
Every report follows the same structure, whatever its type: the logo and sender at the top – on client-facing reports the recipient's address as well, in the position you chose – and below that the title, the report type, the date it was created and the period analysed. Then come the charts showing the split and the tables with the totals, with a disclaimer added if you want one. Anyone who has read one mReport PDF finds their way around every other one immediately.
The export itself is one click: you pick the report type, the period and the view, check the figures and charts on the dashboard and export that same state as a PDF – ready to send, print or file. Reports running to several pages are broken automatically, with a header and footer carrying the page number on every page. How many PDF exports a month your plan includes is on the pricing page.
Answers to a few common questions.
All four report types: the work report, the project report, the employee report and the company report – each in the same consistent layout.
Yes, once for the whole workspace: the typeface from seven options with and without serifs, the logo left or right, its height or no logo at all, the four corners of the footer, and the position of the recipient's address. A preview beside the settings shows the result before you save.
Yes. The recipient's address can be placed to the Swiss SN 010130 standard or to DIN 5008 form A or B, so that it sits in the corresponding envelope window. A return line can optionally be printed above it, so an undeliverable letter finds its way back.
The PDF is a finished document – not a data export that still has to go through Excel or Word. The layout, the header data and the page breaks are already set.
The period decides the scope: a monthly report shows one period, a yearly report one line per month with the yearly total. It is the same layout with a different window of time.
Long reports are broken automatically. The header and footer, with the title, the period and the page number, repeat on every page, so printed sheets stay identifiable.
For client-facing reports a disclaimer can be recorded – for instance a review period or a note about billing. It is maintained in one place and printed in the reports you choose.
