# About mReport ## mReport comes from Earlybyte GmbH – born out of our own daily work with bexio. {#mreport-kommt-von-der-earlybyte-gmbh-entstanden-aus-der-eigenen-taglichen-arbeit-mit-bexio src=436a9816} ## Born out of a need of our own {#aus-einem-eigenen-bedurfnis-entstanden src=1a85b837} ^^ The story We at Earlybyte have worked with bexio since 2018. bexio records time, projects and client services very well – but for clean analyses and client-ready hours reports, we too kept reaching for Excel. That was the gap we wanted to close for ourselves. mReport came out of a real need of our own: turning the time recorded in bexio into professional dashboards and PDF reports without handwork. We have been building software and automation for small and medium-sized companies since 2018 – and we use bexio ourselves, every day, for our own projects and reports. Which means every feature is measured first against our own working week.
